Dr. Scott Hollander will be the featured speaker at February’s Circle of Friends luncheon on Friday, Feb. 14.
Lunch will be in the Davidow Hall lobby at Salem Community College. Registration is 11:30 a.m. Lunch will begin at noon and include Dr. Hollander’s presentation.
Dr. Hollander, a Yale-trained Peripheral Vascular Interventional Radiologist, will discuss SMC’s newest vascular service, Interventional Radiology. IR is a medical subspecialty in which both vascular and nonvascular diseases are diagnosed and treated with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.
Dr. Hollander can diagnose and treat diseases such as Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) — a serious but treatable circulatory issue that causes restricted blood flow. This condition can cause leg pain, leg swelling, and slow-to-heal wounds to the lower extremities.
RSVP is required as seating is limited. Contact Iris Del Olmo at 856-878-6915 or idelolmo@smc.health.
If you or anyone you know are experiencing any symptoms of Peripheral Artery Disease, you can arrange a consultation with Dr. Hollander by calling 631-LEG-PAIN (631-534-7246).
