Dear Dr. Tammy Torres,
I am writing this note to you out of appreciation.
My son just had his second surgery in six months at your hospital.
I couldn’t be any more pleased with your employees and his care. Dr. Daniel Timmerman is his surgeon, and he is excellent with his patients and listens with an open mind to their concerns. Rosia Rivera, RN, keeps her crew walking a tight rope pertaining to prep and care in Same Day Surgery.
We were lucky enough to get Bob Carpenter, RN, for the second time as a nurse — a man of few words but many expressions!
The second time we were introduced to Ultra Care anesthesiologists and what a pleasure they were to work with! I spoke with both Nick Blanck, CRNA, and John Felizzi, CRNA, before, during and after the procedure. They were very attentive to his special circumstances and more than accommodating to his needs.
This may sound simple to you, but to us it’s a big deal.
This was Darryl’s 115th surgery! He has spent more time as an inpatient than most people can fathom. He has been on the vent nine times, 21 years of care at AI DuPont, and the past 20 years at Jefferson in Philadelphia. He is 41 years old, 34 years beyond his life expectancy. So, you see, we are extremely grateful for great care and wanted to thank you and your staff.
Keep up the good work!
Debbie Behnke and Charles Hassler
