On the heels of being honored by Salem Community College, Suzanne Strang, RN, was additionally recognized as the September Blue Violet award winner at SMC.
Strang received both awards for her service and dedication during the COVID-19 pandemic and throughout her career.
Strang graduated from SCC’s nursing program and immediately began her nursing career at SMC. She has worked here for more than 20 years.
During the pandemic, she worked six and seven days in a row, sometimes up to 16 hours a day, and continues to exhibit this same commitment to her patients on a daily basis.
“Suzy continuously demonstrates a strong work ethic while being compassionate and caring to her patients,” said Director of ICU Kirsten Maritim, MSN, BSN, RN, NEA-BC. “She’s a huge asset to SMC.”
