Ekene Ejimofor, MHM, BSN, RN, serves as Chief Nursing Officer for Salem Medical Center. Mr. Ejimofor is responsible for patient care and the integration of nursing with clinical departments such as Pharmacy, Radiology, Laboratory, Cardiopulmonary and Rehabilitation. Previously, he served as Nursing Director at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ – a 960-bed hospital – where he managed Medical Cardiology, Heart Failure, and Heart Transplant since 2016. Previously, he worked at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, NJ, working as an RN in Medical Intensive Care, and Cardiac Telemetry.
Ejimofor has a Master’s in Health Care Management from Rutgers State University of New Jersey, and a Bachelor of Science in nursing at William Paterson University, Wayne. He is currently enrolled in Thomas Edison State University of NJ’s Systems- Level Leadership Track Doctor of Nursing Practice Program and expects to complete his doctorate in 2020.
