Tammy Torres, DNP, MSN, RN, serves as Chief Executive Officer for Salem Medical Center. Previously, Dr. Torres served as Chief Nursing Officer/Chief Operating Officer at Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville, Pa. She served in a variety of roles for Tenet Healthcare (Philadelphia region), overseeing patient care services at Graduate Hospital as Chief Operating Officer/Chief Nursing Officer. She also worked for Cape Regional Medical Center, Hahnemann University Hospital, Deborah Heart and Lung Center, and Virtua Health.
Dr. Torres earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, a Master of Science in Nursing from Southern Connecticut State University, Hamden, CT, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Long Island University, Brooklyn, NY. She serves on the boards of the New Jersey Hospital Association, Salem County Chamber of Commerce, and Salem County College Foundation.
