Joanna O’Neill — Director of ICU
Joanna O’Neill, MSN, RN, is the designated leader for the Intensive Care Unit. She is responsible for the nursing staff and patient care in the ICU.
O’Neill comes to SMC most recently from The Renfrew Center where she served as AVP and Director of Nursing. Previously she was Director of Home Care with InnovAge, and Clinical Nurse Director for Taylor Hospital-Crozer Keystone Health System.
She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Wilmington University and both her BSN and RN from Temple University.
Monet Gedzah — Clinical Nurse Manager
Monet Gedzah, BSN, RN, supervises patient care on 2 and 3 North, and supports the nursing staff. Gedzah is responsible for all day to day activities on the two units.
Gedzah comes to SMC most recently from Cascade Health Services in Kansas City, MO, where she worked as supervisor/charge nurse in various nursing care facilities.
She has also served as a Neuro/Tele Travel nurse with Zack Group Healthcare Staffing, a Psychiatric nurse with Truman Medical Centers, and a Med Surg/Telemetry nurse with Cross Country TravCorps.
Gedzah received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Nursing.
