Lynn Righter-Shookla – AVP of Clinical Operations and Director of Quality
Lynn Righter-Shookla, MSM, BSBA, RN, is an accomplished health care leader with more than 35 years of clinical and leadership experience.
As Associate Vice President of Clinical Operations and Director of Quality, Righter-Shookla oversees Quality, Risk, Infection Control, Medical Staff Office, the Interventional Radiology program, SMC Health Physicians practices, the Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center and Contract Administration.
Previous to SMC, Righter-Shookla served as the Administrative Director of Clinical Operations at Brandywine Hospital Tower Health in Coatesville, PA. There she supervised several departments including invasive and non-invasive cardiology, interventional radiology, respiratory therapy, sleep center, pulmonary function lab, EEG, and nursing operations.
She has also been Mobile Care Coordinator with Guardian Nurses, and Clinical Director Interventional Labs at Montgomery Hospital/Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, East Norriton, PA.
Righter-Shookla received her Master of Science in Business Management, Nursing, Cardiology, and Critical Care degrees from Gwynedd Mercy University, Gwynedd Valley, PA.
Marc Baron – ED Nurse Director
Marc Baron, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, CEN, CPEN, TCRN, CFRN, PHRN, has 18 years of nursing experience in a variety of clinical settings including CTICU, ED, Transport Medicine, Flight Medicine and Pediatrics.
Baron comes to SMC most recently from Jefferson Washington Township Hospital, Turnersville, NJ, where he served as an emergency department nurse.
He has also worked on the emergency transport team at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, as the Clinical Nurse Specialist in the ED at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA, and as an Emergency Room Clinical Coordinator at Lankenau Hospital, Wynnewood, PA.
Baron received his Master of Science in Nursing with a major in Nursing Education from Walden University, Minneapolis, MN, and is currently working towards his Doctor of Nursing Practice with the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL.
He also serves as Adjunct Clinical Faculty at Pennsylvania College of Health Services, Lancaster, PA, and LaSalle University, Philadelphia, PA.
